- Projects
Experience in Carbon Projects
Grow A Tree Foundation has a proven track record of successfully implementing
carbon projects contributing to climate change mitigation and community
development. Some of our notable achievements include:
Establishment of Climate-Smart Villages: We have established climate-smart
villages through funding from the Southern African Development Community
(SADC) and the European Union. These villages serve as models for sustainable
development, integrating climate resilience practices into various sectors such as
agriculture, energy, and water management.
Design and Installation of Biogas Digesters: We have designed and installed
biogas digesters in partnership with ONYX Earth and funded by the Nordic
Environment Finance Corporation (NEFCO). These digesters provide clean and
renewable energy, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and promote sustainable
waste management practices.
Ecosystems Restoration project (Buhera, Rushinga, and Centenary districts)-
Ecosystems Restoration Standard) (ongoing)
2,000 solar-powered boreholes for Shamva and Murehwa Districts Zimbabwe
